Our software engineers, and programmers can quickly customize any of our software products to meet your specialized needs. All of our software products by design are composed of modular components to allow for easy customization and development of new software products at minimum cost.
If you require a custom version of one of our products, or wish to have a new program engineered, contact us. We will be more than happy to give you a cost estimate. Our consultants, programmers, and technical experts can design, and write computer programs to solve a very wide array of forestry, agricultural, GIS, remote sensing, applied, and theoretical statistical analysis, and mathematical analysis, and modeling problems. No problem is too small, or too large.
In order to get the maximum benefit from your investment, let one of our experts optimize the setup of the program to best meet your needs, and train your users. The world is becoming a very competitive place, and small gains in accuracy, precision, and efficiency can translate into large financial gains. Contact us and explain your specific needs. Our team, at no cost to you, will outline alternative solutions to your unique problem listing the advantages, disadvantages, and estimated cost of each solution.
Timber Cruise (TCruise) is the heart of Heuristic Solutions Timber Cruising System product line. The program accepts data from plot, point, double point, or segmented strip cruises of stratified, or non-stratified tracts, and prepares reports by product showng volumes, sampling errors, and the sample sizes required to adchieve stated levels of precision. Volume reports by product and dbh class are optionally available. Reports showing total, and per acre timber tract dollar values by product can be printed if the user inputs current stumpage prices.
TCGPS Navigator adds powerful GPS functionality to Timber Cruise (TCruise) field data collection software.
Sample plots and tract boundaries can be overlaid on an aerial photograph or topographic map and packaged for use on a Windows Mobile device with TCruise and a GPS receiver making plot navigation very simple, accurate and efficient.
