Timber Cruise (TCruise) is the heart of Heuristic Solutions Timber Cruising System product line. The program accepts data from plot, point, double point, or segmented strip cruises of stratified, or non-stratified tracts, and prepares reports by product showng volumes, sampling errors, and the sample sizes required to adchieve stated levels of precision. Volume reports by product and dbh class are optionally available. Reports showing total, and per acre timber tract dollar values by product can be printed if the user inputs current stumpage prices.
The process is simple, collect stem profile data by measuring individual trees from butt to tip or vice versa using the Haglof Digitech Professional. Next, import the data into TProfile and build the local profile function. Lastly, import the profile function into TCruise and you are ready to begin using YOUR local profile functions specific to your region!
